Boulies EP200

Purchased this chair to replace the chair provided by my employer as It was so uncomfortable. The new chair arrived within 48 hours well packed with clear instructions for construction. I was able to complete the set up in about 20 minutes and the comfort has increased 10 fold. What I particularly like is the amount of control you have about every aspect of the seating position. The quality of construction is also extremely good and I consider that the product represents good value. My only slight criticism would be the headrest is not forward enough so that when working I can't benefit only doing so when I sit back as though to rest.

I purchased this chair 3 months ago and finally decided to leave a review. Instead of mesh, I chose the cold-cure foam cushion as I have coccyx pain and need a soft seat. Though its material is softer, it still provides excellent support and has given me the maximum level of comfort during long time use. I like to rest my elbows on the armrests of the chair while working because this can relieve the pressure on my hips. Fortunately, this chair has multi-adjustable armrests. I can adjust the position of the armrests to suit my sitting posture. This really offered me a great deal of convenience. Very happy with the purchase!

I am 5'9" and weigh 160 lbs, using this chair for about 7 hours a day.
The chair arrived quickly and everything was in good condition (came in multiple parts). Assembly did take a little time, but the instructions were clear and the process was fairly straightforward overall. The mesh of the chair seems breathable and comfortable to sit on, and it doesn't easily collect dust like my previous cloth chairs. Adjustable lumber support, seat height, seat depth and headrest. I particularly love the adjustable lumbar pillow which can provide perfect support for me. So far great!

I really wanted to like this chair given the good reviews. Putting it together was easy and seemed good quality. However two issues have left me with hip and leg pain after 2 weeks of use.

1 - I'm on the larger side (though well within the weight limits), and the metal bars at the sides press into my thighs.

2 - the gas lift doesn't go low enough for me to sit in a proper position with feet flat on the floor. Since I have a rise/fall desk it was a little frustrating to need a foot rest but thought that might at least solve the issue.

Altogether I have spent a further £45 on a cushion and foot rest to try and make it more comfortable but to no avail, and now I have pain and discomfort where I had none before. Unfortunately , at least for me, I fear this will end up being an expensive mistake.

Awesome chair, and well worth the money. I am 5'11" and weigh 13 stone, using this chair for several hours a day. It provides good support, and the height is just right for me. The headrest is adjustable and can provide sufficient support at different angles. I have cervical spondylosis and often suffer from neck pain, so a good headrest is extremely important to me. The mesh material is both breathable and supportive, remaining very comfortable even when used for a long period of time. I am happy with this purchase and highly recommend the Boulies EP200 chair to anyone looking for a reasonable price meanwhile good quality office chair.
